1) My mom left at 5 AM yesterday. It was sad. I had a lot of fun with her and I want her to come back already.

2) Linds was on Ryan Seacrest. Whenever she's on this show, I have to listen to the interview. To hear her speak... It blows my mind.

3) I am done with the first draft of my pilot. Oh, by the way? I forgot to mention, I think... I'm writing a pilot? I wrote a pilot.

I snapped this picture when I was leaving Boarders last night with my copy of Barbara Walter's Audition. It's the first book I've bought on the day it came out in... forever, if not my entire life. I only got about 50 pages in last night before I fell asleep (I was working until midnight!) but so far it's great. I will probably be discussing the book a lot as I'm reading it, which should take a hot minute because it's HUGE and I don't have time or energy for anything these days.

Kendall is coming over tonight and we're meeting with the director of our stage show. Kendall just made a UCB Harold team, Internet. My girl's a fucking big deal. You don't even know about it. Actually, that's what I was taking her headshot for (she went with the second one, for anyone who hasn't been following in the comments).

1) In November of 2006, I pretty much had a massive anxiety attack that landed me in the emergency room at Cedar's. After that I took anti-depressants and klonopin daily to help me beat the insufferable panic that I was working up inside of myself for a whole bunch of reasons. When I lost my job in January of 2007, I stopped getting health insurance and had to more or less learn to cope without meds. The antidepressants I never, ever miss. The klonopin? It was like a close friend died.

For the last year, I've had one little yellow pill leftover. It was sitting in my kitchen cabinet on top of a can of Spagetti-Os. I don't know why I kept it there, it just seemed like the right place. Anyway, I just took it.

Hey, Feelings? I can't feel you no mo'.

Def Comedy Jam: Alonzo "Hamburger" Jones

Above is a video of Alonzo "Hamburger" Jones' stand up routine. I'm pretty sure I saw it when I was a kid because it immediately seemed familiar to me. Basically, his act is terrible but completely redeemed by the fact that he never swears and just says the word "hamburger" where most other comedians would throw in a "god day-um" or "mottthhhaaafucka".

It's brilliant. The jokes are really, really horrible but I just laughed my face off for 5 minutes, and toward the end I was holding my breath waiting for him to just say "haayyymmmburga" one last time.
