You see, this is one of my favorite artists singing one of my favorite songs by one of my favorite bands. Who cares if Lily's a trash mouthed drunk and Squeeze kinda sorta sucks? They are also both the best, and so with a little help from a couple of kind people, I had to find it and bring it to the people who read these semi-retarded musings (that's you!) It's that special in it's own "sucky on paper" kind of way.

OK, so the Ronson days are probably over for Lily, and I don't really know if I'm going to be able to get behind her again the way I was on the first album, but I am obsessed with this song. Apparently the chorus is stolen, but I think she's a pretty great lyricist. We're not talking Dylan or anything, but she sure beats the fuck out of that Katy Perry character. If Lily's songs were blog entries, I would put it on my Google Reader.
