Everyone knows Kendall. The other lady that's not me is the newest edition to my treasure trove of friendships, Alexis Hyde. Her blog is a lot cooler than mine. That's actually how we met each other. Blogging. How dorky. It's fine. We're awesome.

Alexis and Wags had never met and so he treated her with the same respect he pays to all of my guests. He was an asshole.

Hyde Hula Hoops

Last night when we got home from the bar, we sat around in my living room text messaging people mean things, laughing about random penises and trying to hula hoop in a drunken state. The next morning, Alexis was pleased to learn that her lack-luster hula hooping the previous evening could be blamed on the fact that she was kinda sorta shitfaced. She's actually really good at it. These two had me laughing so hard that I could barely hold the camera.

Overall: Fun 14 hours with these two. I wouldn't blame you if you were jealous.

- Every night of the week, I film something for work or personal use in my house that involves me talking loudly, usually to myself and occasionally I need to repeat myself several times. The room that I film in has the worst ventilation in my house, so when I'm filming, I make sure to keep the small window open. The only problem is that all of my neighbors probably think I am insane.

weekend activities

This weekend felt long, but in a good way. I woke up early Saturday and Sunday to pack in as much as possible, and luckily there's a few things crossed off my list for this week.

Friday night I got margaritas with Matt and Lindy and we worked on our show while I got very drunk very quickly. I didn't even mean to get drunk, but when I was exactly two margaritas deep I started getting giggly and kind of sloppy. Casey Wilson talked about what happens after two "margaroos" on her Funny or Die blog and Matty and Lindy were two of the friends mentioned in her story. They have passed down to me the true power of margaroos... Seriously, don't have that third 'roo. By the time I got home at 9, I was completely plastered. I was passed out by 10.

Saturday morning I woke up to film a sketch for Channel 101 with Kendall. We did bit parts for my friend Jim's sketch series "Making Mistakes". After that we came back to my house and filled up a couple hours with hula hooping, fetch with Wagandstuff and filming. Kendall and I did a Steve Aoki/Cory Kennedy bit for the Monday To Do List. Granted, they are both kind of obscure for the mainstream population, but I hope it is funny to people who don't even know who they are. After that I had improv followed by a night out on the town.

This morning I started the day with the news that I had been selected to perform in Worst Laid Plans this coming Friday at UCB. I am SO excited to be doing the show and although I normally would blush at the subject matter (I can be surprisingly prudish about certain types of sex talk. It's the former Catholic in me...), I've seen this show before and laughed the whole way through. Obviously I would want to be a part of that. I also started my new improv class today. The class actually started last week, but I had to miss it due to the MTV Movie Awards. My class is HUGE but I'm pretty blown away by how talented everyone is, the ladies in particular. Ever since I got back I've been catching up with phone calls and making videos for the week...

Now I'm going to go pass out and do the whole "work week" thing all over again...

I snapped this picture when I was leaving Boarders last night with my copy of Barbara Walter's Audition. It's the first book I've bought on the day it came out in... forever, if not my entire life. I only got about 50 pages in last night before I fell asleep (I was working until midnight!) but so far it's great. I will probably be discussing the book a lot as I'm reading it, which should take a hot minute because it's HUGE and I don't have time or energy for anything these days.

Kendall is coming over tonight and we're meeting with the director of our stage show. Kendall just made a UCB Harold team, Internet. My girl's a fucking big deal. You don't even know about it. Actually, that's what I was taking her headshot for (she went with the second one, for anyone who hasn't been following in the comments).

In college, Kendall and I used to do each other's hair and makeup all the time. I always did hair, she did make up. Our qualifications for our jobs were that I worked at a hair salon for a year and a half in high school and she had cooler make up. Anyway, the other night we decided to do fun hair before we vlogged. She started teasing her hair (if you've never seen this done before, I suggest you find a YouTube video or something because it's really a remarkable process.) Once her hair was all gigantic, she was wondering what to do with it and I was all "Well, I bet I could fake an Amy Winehouse situation". Thie only thing is that I didn't have bobby pins, so that thing is being held up by two gymnasts clips, a pony tail holder and a shit load of hairspray.

As for the peanut butter situation and my son: He's currently sitting on my lap (as I typed that he jumped up to go bark at someone taking out the trash) and I just found this photo of him, so whatever kind of vomiting and shit I'm going to have to clean up as a result of his peanut butter binge is pretty much already forgiven.

1) In November of 2006, I pretty much had a massive anxiety attack that landed me in the emergency room at Cedar's. After that I took anti-depressants and klonopin daily to help me beat the insufferable panic that I was working up inside of myself for a whole bunch of reasons. When I lost my job in January of 2007, I stopped getting health insurance and had to more or less learn to cope without meds. The antidepressants I never, ever miss. The klonopin? It was like a close friend died.

For the last year, I've had one little yellow pill leftover. It was sitting in my kitchen cabinet on top of a can of Spagetti-Os. I don't know why I kept it there, it just seemed like the right place. Anyway, I just took it.

Hey, Feelings? I can't feel you no mo'.
