Thursday I went out with Blaire and her ride has these hot pink lights in them. Tigggghttt... We went to Lola's and I got shithoused off of two martinis. Then we called Matt to come hang out cause he was in the area and so we went to his place and played Connect 4 after what as some sort of a bar fight at the Village Idiot.
Last night I went to a meeting with my girl Blaire and she was talking about how she was feeling kind of down this week and when she was pep-talking herself up again she was all "You're not having a bad day, you just had too many good days in a row" and then shit got really deep for a minute because I realized that was exactly my problem, too.
I got really spoiled for a minute and things got easy in areas they usually aren't and so when things started going back to about average I was thinking that my life totally blows ass. But it doesn't. I have a pretty decent life. Like above-average decent. It's a 6 or a 7, probably. More like a 7 most days. On a scale of 1-10 or whatever.
Oh, BTW, guys. Blaire is my new friend I met through this very blog. We're pretty much gonna take over the world together. Me, Blaire and SuChin Pak from your teevee. More on that later.
These are the things you need to know about Blaire:
1) She's awesome
2) She thought I was a fake person (as in, non-existing. Like LonelyGirl15, ferreals.)
3) She has a dog named Zero and a boyfriend named Brian who calls me "Meatmolls" like "Meatballs"
4) I accidentally stole her swordfish lighter when I was drunk last night:
6) She says really fabulous things, like last night someone was all "Oh, I have a friend named Blair, but she doesn't spell it with an 'e'" and Blaire was all "Oh, she couldn't handle an 'e'." And then I giggled like a moron and kept drinking.
She is probably one of the people who doesn't want her face all over my blog (I know, I don't understand it either!), so I unfortch don't have a photo for you yet of us doing something ironic or whatever, but we'll work on that.
Annnddddd! This morning! She sent me this song! She knew I wanted it and I didn't even have to ask because she just knows. Anyway, listen to HOV...
1) I am devastated that Susan Miller hasn't updated with my December horoscope yet. It's like she doesn't post them until she knows I've paid my rent, which is something I guess I'll have to do tomorrow. Fuck. Thanks, Susan. Thanks a lot. I thought you said I have Pluto in my sign for 15 years. I thought that meant something to you.
2) I have a meeting with MTV tomorrow. I figured I probably shouldn't blog about it, but then I was like "They would have told you not to blog about it if you weren't allowed to and they know they're working with loud-mouth bloggers and internet assholes, right?" So yeah, that's what I'm doing tomorrow. And I'm nervous. Not for the meeting, but for the waking up in the morning part. I don't like getting out of bed and I hate showering in the morning even more. Double whammy! Anyway, I think MTV is pretty mainstream exciting. That's something people back home will be pumped to read. MTV, you guys. Like Pimp My Ride and shit.
3) I have blown about remembering fantastical creature updates. I will try and do better this month.
Thanks to Alexis for being my bestie.
Last night was incredible. I'm covering this weekend for Idolator, so hopefully we'll have some cool stuff (especially because I'm pretty sure Alexis used her womanly ways to score us backstage passes.) I think Ed was kind of changed forever. I felt like a grown up because for the first time ever I didn't feel the need to throw myself in the center of the madness and get all beat up by over-enthusiastic sweaty dudes and their butch girlfriends.
Instead we befriended a dude named Blaise (as in "Blaze". Uh huh.) who we asked outside to take the photo of us above. Turns out he was awesome and we spent the whole night dancing with him and getting to know all things Blaise. I already wrote him an email bugging him to keep in touch and to let me come see his studio.
