So, I just got back to LA from a weekend in Boston. I miss it already.
I'll post pictures and maybe a video soon, but here's a couple things I want to say:
1) The Hello...Shovelhead! show this weekend was amazing. My friends are very talented and I was a part of something extremely special. There's no way that I'd be doing what I do if it wasn't for that experience and the people I shared it with.
2) My mom's store is awesome. If you live in Massachusetts, go check out her store in Needham or any of the other locations (I'm also partial to the Newbury St. one-- great designer deals.)
3) One of my all time greatest friends and my (most frequent) Shovelhead writing partner Ryan is moving out to LA soon. I'm blogging this because when I blog things, they become fact.
4) Today is my fake boyfriend Ed's birthday... I made him this to celebrate:
This was taken last Saturday around 2 AM outside an animal hospital in the Valley.
I am so obnoxious.
Last night we went to St. Nick's and Bergen's.
And here's another episode of Disasterpiece Theater:
1) I am so drunk I can barely form a sentence
2) The woman comes into the bathroom and says to Ed "I thought this was a woman's room"
3) You can see this registering on my face initially, and then a moment later and then again a few more moments later.
4) In a bathroom with an echo, I start whispering "She's a bitch"
5) Ed tries to take me into the mens room, but it's occupied. Later I do go in there and it's so disgusting I decide to wait for the bitch to vacate the ladies room.
6) Why do I have to turn it into a gynecological thing? Why am I so mean?
7) NEW FRIEND TREVOR FOREVER.
Last night Ed and I went to a gay mixer Downtown. We saw our beloved Sergio. An angry gay man yelled at me because supposedly the website I work for said something shitty about one of his friends once or something.
Then we got mediocre Chinese food.
This morning I woke up early to go shoot a sketch with my friends Brian and Carlos from UCB. We filmed it at Joseph's in Hollywood. For all of you who aren't aware, Joseph's was the meeting spot for a one Miss Britney Spears and a one Mr. Kevin Elizabeth Federline. Here are the pictures from the shoot:
Then I went home to play with Wagandstuff:
Ed and I are graduating from our 201 class tomorrow. You can come see the show if you want (even if you don't really know me! It might be fun to just go watch some improv! No one will know you're one of my internet stalkers-- not even me!)
It's at the UCB on Franklin. It's at 6:30 and it's $5 at the door.

I've been taking this whole improv thing pretty seriously and Ed and I already started our 301 class last week. I went to shows almost every night this week (except Wednesday) to keep my mind sharp and my funny on point. Ed had a really busy work week and could only see the Monday shows. This is what he said about it on the phone this AM:
"I didn't have time to go to that show last night but I wanted to do something, so I watched the Whoopi Goldberg Biography on A&E"
BRILLO.
See you there, maybes?
