This has been blaring in my apartment for two weeks. I've memorized the dance moves in the video (which is not embeddable, so go look it up on YouTube), I've taken to looking up House of Dereon website almost daily, and as soon as I perfect my time travel device, I'll be able to ensure that I too have a sister named Solange.

Beyonce and Jay Z got married this weekend and as huge fans of both of them, Ed and I had some of their jams on the tip of our minds last night. Once we got wasted at Lola's with Jordan and Rachel, we went down to Canter's with Ben and Danica and Colin and finished off the night with some bagels and lox... and a Beyonce booth dance.
OK, so the title of the post comes from the boldest line in Beyonce's song "Upgrade U" which has been around for a long ass time but has recently come back into my life because of a mix CD Ed has in his car.
