I went to Boston College pretty much for free. I'm not going to act like I have the student loans built up the way some of my friends do... but I really don't have the means to be paying Boston College right now. They need to give me a fucking minute. Boston College getting my $2800 dollars is no so much my fucking concern.

Let me explain this to you... For four years I was told that everything I did there would impact me for the rest of my life. I had to get a good GPA, I had to pick the right major, I had to get the best professors with the most clout, because apparently this would have a great effect on my transition to the real world. The truth of that? Not one interview I have ever gone on has ever asked me to prove that I went to Boston College. No one has ever asked my GPA. Most of the things I learned from my concentration in Film could have been picked up by anyone who spent any amount of time in a creative office. I was more or less deceived into racking up these $2800 dollars in loans... so pardon me while I tell you that your check is on the way, Sandy from Williams and Fudge. Pardon me while I turn the tables on your fat face, cause it's going to be a hot minute before you get any more money from me.

Beside the fact that I feel lied to about the importance of college in my life, I also didn't head straight to Wall Street like a great deal of my classmates. I'm not selling my soul to pay them back. I'm working hard in a creative field to best capitalize on my skills in the long run. I think I have a much better business plan than all those Carol School of Management losers who probably have some sort of bank account set up that their student loans are deducted from. I can't set one of those up because any month could be the month where that charge goes through, I bounce a 200 dollar check and then spend the next month trying to catch up to bank fees. Suck my dick, Boston College. You will get my money when I am ready to give you my money.

I just dropped $400 dollars over the course of a 30-second phone call. Apparently if I don't finish paying off what I owe by July, I will effect Boston College's "federal funding"... I'm not worried about that. Why? Because when I was at Boston College, I worked as a fundraiser. I am well aware that any amount of Federal Funding they get is not going to be taken away by me, Molly McAleer. I also know that for every student they call who can drop 10 thousand dollars on a "donation" for a tailgating spot (a "prize" BC hands out to the top contributers), there were at least 20 mother fuckers I called who were a lot closer to being in my position. How's my credit? My credit sucks a dick. My credit is horrible. What I'm working towards is ultimately never having that effect me. No one cares if your credit sucks when you're willing to pay cash for your beach-front property.

Hey, Boston College Alumni Fund: Don't even fucking THINK of calling me right now. I worked for you. I know how it works. You TOTALLY have the balls to call someone who's ass you're riding in one direction for student loan payments and ask them to donate to the alumni fund... because you are a shameless organization. SHAMELESSSSS....

As I was getting out of Ed's car tonight, I looked at him and said "I really hope I don't get raped tonight". I would say something like that, for the record, even had I not just driven down Skid Row or found out today that perhaps random people in my neighborhood have the master key to my laundry unit, garage and building's front gate. But honestly, I just knew that something like this was going to happen tonight. I just had this pit in my stomach, all the way up until I passed out in bed.

At 4 am, I woke up to what sounded like someone repeatedly banging my door with a large block of wood. One of my friends was recently held at gunpoint in front of his home in the much safer Los Feliz area, so I wasn't fucking around. I located my cell phone and called 911. I was originally asking them just to do a drive-by, make sure that there wasn't a rapist hanging out in my building... then the banging started again, only this time it was harder and faster. I told them just to come out.

No more than 10 minutes later, there were five officers at my door. I started crying immediately when I saw them. I explained the situation, apologized if I was wasting their time and asked them just to keep an eye on things for me. They thought it was hilarious that Wagandstuff was in attack mode. I thought he was going to bite them. They kept saying "You've trained him so well"... To hate men? Sure. To grow six feet and become a human man with gigantic muscles? No. He has no idea how to do that and that would be a lot more useful to me.

I'm going to wait until the sun comes out and go back to bed. Since I can already hear the birds waking up, I know that that's probably not too far away... but I'm freaked out and exhausted. I'm hoping that the landlord and building manager can help me in the morning with new locks or something. I feel like I need another form of security than this old bolt lock and a cheap door.

thankfully the number is not my balance, although it has been that before.

$192.69 on a single item of clothing is a lot for a girl like me to drop at once, but holy shit, I am going to love that zebra print BCBG number for the rest of my life.

And BTW, Nordstrom, with the exception of the shoe section (best sneakers around), is a den of shit. A den.

About a year and a half ago I was really into making self portraits in which I was doing awesome things, like stabbing myself in the face with a pencil or discovering ants in my kitchen. Apparently Tiny Pic deleted them all from MySpace, so they are gone forever. That's pretty sad. Thankfully I found this one on Facebook of me scoring a slam dunk.

thankful for life and the long weekend

This has been one of the most physically and emotionally exhausting weeks of my life and I am so glad it's over, but I also never ever want to forget the way I'm feeling now-- thrilled, excited, anxious, full of passion for what I do. A year ago I don't think I could have been further from being where I wanted to be, and now I feel like I'm one huge step closer to my dreams.

I usually refuse to stop and acknowledge my accomplishments because if you stop too long, sometimes you wind up staying there... but right now there's nothing I can do but be kind of pumped to be Molly McAleer.

I'm going to take a moment tonight to eat Mexican food with a girlfriend, pop a Xanax, watch Juno finally (I know, I know, it's supposed to suck... but I gotta find out what this Diablo Cody chick people are comparing me to made. I feel totally out of the loop.) I'm going to start some of my new books, I'm totally going to drink Diet Cokes and smoke cigarettes in bed with my dog.

Tomorrow I'm hosting my practice team, shopping with Kendall and Hyde. Going out with Ed at night...

Other than two quick shoots on Monday, the rest of the weekend is mine to roll around in bed and sing Stevie Wonder songs to Wagandstuff.
